The Office of High School Programs at Brandeis runs several summer programs for teens. BIMA and Genesis are month-long programs that offer talented high-school students from across the globe an opportunity to become immersed in artistic study (BIMA) and intellectual discovery (Genesis). At BIMA and Genesis teens explore the relationship between their personal passions and their Jewish identity while forming life-long friendships. BIMA and Genesis span classroom, campus, and the city. Participants get a feel for college life, and a taste of the rich cultural and intellectual offerings of Boston. Impact: Boston is a program run in partnership with BBYO, a two-week summer experience focused on social action, community service, and advocacy. Social Justice Summer is our new non-residential program that offers local high school students the opportunity to take college-level courses at Brandeis related to social justice.
