beer tasting contest with torah learningThe Early Acharonim are the great rabbis, leaders, and thinkers who guided the Jewish people through the many religious, social, and  political challenges of the Renaissance and early modern era.  They include The Maharal, The Rama, The Maharsha, and many others.

The Early Acharonim will be the subject of our Third Annual Pre-Purim Learning and Beer-Tasting Contest, with Rabbi Norbert Weinberg and Rabbi Shlomo Yaffe.

Come to the historic Adams Street Shul and sample a diverse array of the finest kosher exotic craft beers.  There will be food-pairings and Torah thoughts matched to each beer.  Match the unlabeled samples to the bottles they came from to win bibulous prizes!

What do the Early Acharonim have to do with a beer-tasting contest?  Well, the beers will be from the lands in which these sages lived.  (No more hints!)

The event is Monday night, March 7th, Bring your friends and meet new ones.  Learn about the Early Acharonim and find out how discerning your taste buds are.
