Encourage development through play. This class will continue to provide a rich sensory experience for toddlers. A place to come and be supported with other families experiencing toddlerhood. Play-based activities will provide fun new challenges for their developmental stage. These activities will focus on movement, multi-step activities and using their problem solving skills to continue figuring out how the world works.
The class is taught by Child Development Specialist Liz Berkman. Most recently, Liz has worked as a child development instructor at Isis Parenting. During her time at Isis she ran developmentally appropriate groups for ages 6 months to 3 years and facilitated educational discussions around various developmental topics. She also taught a Toddler Essentials class to parents interested in learning more about toddlerhood. Liz lives in Needham with her husband and two wonderful children ages eleven and nine.
