Author Jane Redmont will explore the subject of delicious and healthful food and her discoveries of the new food options available in cities, suburbs and the American countryside including our very own neighborhoods. Judy Lieberman represents Brookwood Community Farm, a thriving local example of this exciting new food renaissance. The farm’s output fuels a community supported agriculture program, ensuring access to healthy, fresh and affordable foods for local communities and hunger relief organizations.
Jane Redmont, M.Div., Ph.D. (cand.) is a writer, scholar, professional in the nonprofit world, religious (and interreligious) leader, activist, undergraduate and graduate level teacher in Berkeley, California and at Guilford College in North Carolina. Judy Lieberman is co-founder and manager of Brookwood Community Farm which began in 2008 and is committed to sustainable farming and organically grown crops. Brookwood now includes locations in Milton and in Canton.
