Open House, dinner and Shabbat under the stars at Temple Shalom, 475 Winthrop Street, Medford.
Friday night, September 16, come at 5:30p.m. to meet our Clergy, the Director of our growing Religious School, and congregants. Get a tour of our building, our school and our newly renovated natural playground (and the pool too!)
At 6p.m. we will serve a kosher (meat) dinner and then at 7p.m. we will enjoy Shabbat services outside under the stars (weather permitting). We will have Shabbat songs for our youngest guests at 6:45 p.m. so they can enjoy Shabbat even if they can’t stay up for the service.
Everyone is welcome. RSVP or ask questions at email@example.com, or just stop by.
Temple Shalom is a conservative, egalitarian community that embraces the richness of Jewish tradition and thrives on diversity of background, family structure, and ideas. Our members’ lives are enriched through participation in our vibrant and warm Jewish kehilah [congregation], where passion for praying, playing, learning, and tikkun olam [social action] are fulfilled in the most satisfying way — b’yachad [together] — side by side — as part of a Jewish community that feels like family, and shares the joys of each other’s life events.+ More... - Less...
