Special Meditation Shabbat and Motzei Shabbat November 8, 2014
9:00 am – 10am at Temple Israel and then at 7:00-9:00 pm at a private home in Sharon.
We are very excited to be sponsoring a special Shabbat meditation program and gathering featuring author and leading meditation teacher and scholar of mystical wisdom traditions Rabbi Yoel Glick from France. He is the director of Daat Elyon, an online center for spiritual training, is a renowned teacher of Jewish meditation and spirituality. He has been guiding seekers on the path for over thirty years. He has taught in the United States, Canada, Israel, Asia and Europe. He is author of “Seeking the Divine Presence: The Three Pillars of a Jewish Spiritual Life.” Rabbi Glick will be leading the Shabbat morning drop in meditation at Temple Israel and then for Motzei Shabbat at 7 pm he will be giving a talk and leading a more in depth meditation related to his new book just released October 1:
“Living a Life of Jewish Meditation: A Comprehensive Guide to Practice and Experience”
The evening class size and reception is limited to 20 people and will be held at a private home in Sharon, MA. Suggested donation for the evening program is $36 per person. Morning program is free. Rabbi Glick will be available to sign copies of the book which can be purchased the night of the program or in advance directly through Jewish Lights Publishing as well as other retail and online outlets such as Amazon and Barnes and Noble.
