A week-long series of tennis camps for children in grades 3-8 will be offered throughout the summer at the Leventhal-Sidman Jewish Community Center (333 Nahanton Street) in Newton. Whether you’re new to the game or your tennis skills are already developing, the camp’s recreation-focused environment and progressive training techniques can help improve and develop skills at every level. Daily schedule includes instruction, drills, free swim, games and match play. Campers may participate in one, many, or all weeks of camp. Led by USPTA certified tennis pro Doug Maynard, the camp is offered weekly from June 23 through August 29 from 10am-4pm. Cost per week is $425 for registrations received by May 1; $460 thereafter.
