If you ever wanted to understand the basic workings of Israel’s parliamentary-style democracy, this two-part program is for you!  Taught by Samuel Crystal, Director of Political Affairs, Consulate General of Israel to New England.  Topics will include: how elections function, the coalition/opposition relationship, a breakdown of the 10 current parties within Israel’s Knesset, checks and balances and the roles of the legislature, executive, and judiciary branches.
