This program, called “Lost and Found Jewish Musical Treasures,” features Hassidic melodies, gems from the Yiddish theatre, klezmer dance tunes, and Yiddish folksongs. Also with singer/actress Miryem-Khaye Seigel, bassist Kirsten Lamb and percussionist Grant Smith. Hebrew National Salvage is known for rescuing extraordinary Jewish musical treasures that have been neglected, discarded or overlooked and using them to inspire compelling musical presentations.
