Deborah Shelkan Remis will discuss her passionate belief that researching and sharing the life of one of the six million victims of the Holocaust is to return that person’s dignity and to give them back a voice. She will describe her personal journey as a daughter of a Holocaust survivor to being a member of One by One. Learn how her extraordinary path brought her to produce a multimedia, musical presentation, “Sara’s Voice, sotto voce” which tells the story of a young violin virtuoso who perished in the Holocaust. The concert will be presented at the Shalin Liu Performance Center in Rockport on Sunday, October 18th.
