The process of creating life and birthing is an amazing experience, but can be overwhelming! This class is appropriate for first time moms or as a refresher course for second time moms, also perfect as a supplemental course if you have taken or plan to take another birthing class. The small group allows for more answers to questions and also helps create a community of expectant families before you become a 2 + unit.
The Bursting with Joy Series has 4 classes total:
Certified Nurse-Midwife, Sarah Kleinman, will cover the birthing process and practice birthing in 2 classes. In another class, pediatric nurse practitioner, Greta Feinberg, will provide tips for taking care of your newborn. Rabbi Elaine Zecher will lead a class on welcoming your baby into the Jewish orbit, and covering naming ceremonies, bris’s and Jewish customs. You can take the entire 4 week session or piece out the birthing, Jewish ritual and baby care classes. Take the whole series for $100/couple; Includes dinner and materials.
