The Boston Workmen’s Circle is hosting its 8th annual, giant, raucous, political Purim extravaganza replete with a costume party, political theater, cash bar and photobooth! (Yes, we know we’re late- what was up is down, what is down is up!) This year, we’re featuring the imitable black, Jewish and queer rapper Y-LOVE from Brooklyn, NY and Boston’s DJ Lady Spindrift returns to spin out the jams!

Cover is $10-20, sliding scale. Nobody will be turned away for lack of funds.
Come dressed in costume! *Racist costumes will be denied entry. #PurimNotPrejudice

Y-LOVE – Queer Jewish hip-hop artist from New York! In a hip-hop world full of negative messages, Y-Love (Yitz Jordan) is leading a new era of “universal hip-hop” –where pounding rhythms combine with social consciousness to “elevate, not tranquilize” the world.
