Often, one of the most formative experiences of a child’s day school education is a class trip to Israel. Many day schools offer a trip to Israel for students as a culmination of their studies and a powerful way to connect with their Jewish identity.
Recently, students from Kehillah Schechter Academy in Norwood returned from their 8th grade trip to Israel and were asked to reflect on the time they spent there. I encourage you to read their poignant and thoughtful essays here and share in the impact of this trip.
