They can’t locate a concern for the environment in classic Jewish texts (except for an occasional tenuous connection such as Tu B’shvat). But the link is there. A Boston native, she earned a BA from Barnard College in environmental studies and urban planning and was ordained at the Reconstructionist Rabbinical College in Philadelphia.
